The consolidation of the Lovelace Medical Centers is complete. Lovelace Medical Center has invested more than $60 million to bring this facility state-of-the-art technology, a Cardiac Care Center of Excellence, integrated cancer care, advanced surgical capabilities including a dedicated Surgical Inpatient Unit, and an Emergency Department capable of growing with Albuquerque. In addition, Lovelace Medical Center is an accredited Chest Pain Center with a comprehensive stroke program, offers the state's only Intravascular Ultrasound and houses New Mexico 's only Gamma Knife Center. Lovelace Medical Center is fully accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO).
