JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Manages the Pharmacy Department.
- Responsible for achievement of customer service and financial objectives, as well as adherence to professional practices and management of hourly Pharmacy associates.
SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- Manages all Pharmacy Department operations and hourly Pharmacy associates.
- Performs professional duties and responsibilities, associated with the processing of prescriptions, to meet Company objectives and personally maintains a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Ensures prompt and courteous customer service by all hourly Pharmacy associates.
- Responsible for adherence to federal and state Pharmacy laws.
- May serve as the Pharmacist in charge for licensing agreements.
- Implements audit control procedures to ensure compliance with Company and regulatory requirements.
- Selects, hires, and trains hourly Pharmacy Department associates.
- Schedules Pharmacy Department hourly associates and maintains the time and attendance reporting system.
