Job Description
Pharmacy Director Job - Chicago, IL - Judge Group, Inc.
In order to be considered for this position, you must have a minimum of five years experience as a Pharmacy Director, overseeing the entire department on a corporate level.
This position reports to Executive Vice President of Operations.
The Director of Pharmacy:
- Is responsible for both Merchandising and Operations.
- Ensures the existence of corporate merchandising plans, programs, andcampaigns necessary to merchandise pharmacy products throughout the company,to achieve projected sales and gross profit objectives.
- Provides staff assistance to retail divisions in the area of sales planning, procurementand merchandising, by developing merchandising programs.
- Audits and establishes merchandising techniques consistent with the banners sales objectives.
- In conjunction with corporate advertising functions, assists in the development of merchandising campaign implementation, and reporting of the results.
- Performs special studies in the pharmacy merchandising field as requested.
- Oversees 38 retail pharmacy operations in the area Direct reports include:
- pharmacy district managers
- scheduling coordinator
- pharmacy services manager
- pharmacy support personnel.
