Job Description
A Low-Volume store looking for an Independent and motivated Pharmacist. Located near the entrance of Yellow Stone National Park, A canidate who enjoys the outdoors is best for this environment. We specialize in medicine-on-time for assisted living facilities. This is a great opportunity to be your own boss and help set up policies and procedures.
Responsibilities: 1. Orients and supervises all department employees. 2. Serves as a consultant and resource person for any member of the health team regarding pharmaceuticals (i.e. their therapeutic effects, usage, dosages and storage). 3. Maintains a dispensary for clinics. 4. Acts as a liaison between members of other departments and the pharmacy. 5. Ensures that Health Center Pharmacy operations, policies and procedures, comply with both Federal and State Board of Pharmacy Rules and Regulations. 6. Maintains stock drugs at established inventory levels. 7. Assists in the inspection of all stocks of drugs and biologicals in various departments on a monthly basis, removing outdated, deteriorated or excessive stock as necessary. 8. Fills outpatient prescriptions as per protocol and regulations. 9. Maintains a drug profile for each client. 10. Provides client with information and education when necessary. 11. Participates in consumer and staff education programs. 12. Participates in developing and maintaining a current drug formulary. 13. Maintains pharmacy billing/collection system. 14. Participates in all safety programs which may include assignment to a disaster control or fire safety response team. 15. Performs other related work as required
