Pharmacy Technician

Administratively this position would support the Pharmacist and patients/customers in the capacity of taking patient histories, as well as functioning as a Pharmacy Tech in a retail Pharmacy setting.

Primary reponsibilites would include but not be limited to:

• Taking accurate patient histories
• Operating a retail cash register
• Relaying information in regard to a patient's prescription to the Pharmacist
• Perform all duties associated with a Pharmacy Tech's role in filling a prescription
• Understand the proper handling and storage of medications in a Pharmacy
• Any other duties as assigned.

• Must have excellent attention to detail
• Must be able to work in a high volume, fast-paced environment.
• Requires a motivated, flexible individual who understands the importance of patient/customer care.
• Ideal candidate would be a focused team player who is able to work well with others.
• Experience as a Pharmacy Tech is a must, certification is preferred.
• Must have some clerical and or retail experience.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
