Job Description
The successful candidate is responsible to direct the data management activities for all studies. This includes review of protocols, data management plan, study and QC process for internal studies. This individual will be the primary resource and communication link for data management in the non-U.S. regions. Additional responsibilities include: assist in assigning studies to appropriate data manager; review protocols, data management plans; prepare and track timelines; work with study team to provide specifications for central laboratories and CROs. The Project Manager will manage and supervise the CDM team for clinical data management operations: design and create study databases In Oracle Clinical; identify and report data discrepancies and finalize resolutions; validate data; review/code medications and adverse events using electronic dictionaries; develop and review standard procedures and conventions for global data management; manage the projects performed by Contract Research Organizations (CROs), Central Labs and consultants; collaborate with Quality Assurance to audit study databases for both internal studies and studies performed by CROs.
Candidate MUST have: Bachelors degree in Medical or Technology fields with 6+ years in Clinical Data Management
Extensive computer software experience on multiple products and platforms including Electronic Data Capture (EDC/RDC) is necessary.
Proficient in Oracle Clinical is strongly required
Must have proven experience as primary clinical data management lead on clinical trials
