Job Description
The following requirements must be met to qualify:

-10 years experience in Biopharm/pharmaceutical manufacturing leadership.

-3 years recent experience in aseptic processing

-Experience in DMAIC or Lean Manufacturing and a record of driving operational improvement

Position Overview: Manage bulk, aseptic processing and packaging manufacturing operations to deliver high quality products with a value of production over $125 MM. Develop business/quality plans with five-year cost/quality objectives that continue to drive operations. Work closely with the Quality BU Mgr to drive BU improvements. 1) Adheres to all environmental, health and safety SOPs, equipment, policies and procedures, including any department specific requirements. 2) Propose and devise strategies from the data gathered to support the Manufacturing Operating System. 3) Provide technical expertise and resources, cooperating and coordinating with Production, Engineering, and Technical Services. 4) Responsible for developing the vision and formulation/execution of long and short range plans for functional area. 5) Responsible for development of an annual operating budget exceeding $15 MM and maintain expenses within the plan. 6) Develop self, direct reports and high potential employees. 7) Interfaces with support functions to secure services and resources. 8) Regularly interacts with Quality, Marketing, Supply Chain and Technical Services senior management on matters concerning several functional areas, divisions, and/or customers. 9) Drive continuous improvement efforts within the Pharma Business Unit via DMAIC, Lean and Capital projects. 10) Ensure products are provided to customers on time so that product quality, yield, operating costs and process efficiencies are met. 11) Responsible for ensuring the quality and quantity of work produced, staffing requirements, budgets, costs, methods, maintenance of discipline, transfers, promotions, salary changes, terminations and performance standards. 12) Member of the Plant Senior Leadership Team.
