PHARMACY DEPARTMENT Present Staff: 7 Registered Pharmacists, 10 Technicians: Manager/Pharmacy Services (1) Staff Pharmacist (6) IV Technician (8) Distribution Technicians (2)

Hours of Service: 16 hour/day, 7 days per week, Services Provided

Staff Pharmacist Opportunities Inpatient Services: • Interpret and Verify Physician Order in Decentralized and Centralized Setting • Monitor Drug Therapy • Supervise Inpatient Medication Dispensing • Utilized Pharmacy Computer Systems • Extemporaneous Compounding • Manufacture and Supervise IV Admixture Service • Provide Drug Information Utilizing Library • References and Computer References

Clinical Services: • Play Integral Part in Health Care Team • Monitor Target Drugs/Formulary Compliance • Kinetics Service • Monitor Laboratory Values • Information Source for Other Health Care Professionals • Renal Dosing Program • Attend Patient Care Conferences Shift differential when working after 6pm $4.16/hour Payed time and ½ when working on designated holidays
