Job Summary
To provide clinical pharmacy services to clinical research teams in order to achieve clinical study objectives.
Responsibilities
Services provided include: • clinical pharmacy information, • planning and preparation for packaging, labeling, distribution • accountability of clinical trial materials (CTM) • Prepare clinical pharmacy manuals for clinical studies with an investigational pharmacy component • Education of internal and external clinical study staffs on pharmacy related issues through in-services, site initiation visits, and investigator meetings • Review vendor document/quotations for CTM packaging and labeling operations, and determine the appropriate CTM strategies for specific clinical studies • Prepare, review, and revise investigational product information for inclusion in clinical study protocols • Assist with CTM forecasting and strategies to optimize its use in the conduct of clinical studies • Consult with project teams on medication related issues, such as concomitant medications and exclusionary medications • Prepare and review departmental SOPs
Up to 25% travel
Basic Qualifications: • A pharmacy degree with 4+ years in hospital/investigational pharmacy setting • Minimum of 1 year supervisory experience • Minimum 1 year Biopharmaceutical industry experience.
