CareerStaff Unlimited is partnering with a not-for-profit, community-owned, full-service hospital to assist with finding a pharmacist for Day Shift Pharmacist for their hospital. Qualifications
- Licensed Pharmacist in Missouri State
- BS or Pharm D from an accredited school of Pharmacy
- Ability to manage multiple tasks at one time
- Previous Hospital or Home IV Therapy experience preferred, but new grads will also be considered

Responsibilities - Interprets medication orders verifying accuracy as it may pertain to dosage, route of administration, and dosing interval. In the event of a questionable order you will be responsible for contacting the prescribing physician and offer recommendations.
- Initiate and maintain Inpatient Medication Profiles, recording all medications, routes and intervals, reviews all profiles for contraindications and drug interactions and will notify the prescribing physician of any drug therapy contraindications.
- Responsible for preparation and/or dispensing of medications including: compounded medications, IVs, TPNs, and other dosage forms as requested.
- Responsible for providing drug information by verbal or written response as requested from physician, nurses, ancillary departments, and community pharmacies.
