Job Description
Pharmacy Technicians needed for Mail Order facility.
Must be able to: - Ability to work between multiple systems - Ability to enter new prescriptions into pharmacy system (decipher prescriptions, distinguishing different drug forms and dosages) - Ability to calculate dispensing quantities and days supply - minimum of 1-3 years of pharmacy technician retail, hospital outpatient, or mail service pharmacy related experience is a must. - Pharmacy terminology, calculations and drug experience is required. - Candidate must be able to read and interpret prescriptions and be able to enter these prescriptions into the pharmacy dispensing system. - A technical college degree (pharmacy tech program) or comparable work experience is preferred.
Monday thru Friday 7am-4:30pm.
