Provide leadership in the activities and programs (clinical services, educational activities, research, and drug distribution) of the Department of Pharmacy Services. Assures development of and monitors progress toward achieving compatible goals/objectives and implementation plans for pharmaceutical care specific to the particular patient populations served FMC Pharmacy Services. Maintains liaison with hospital and medical staff committees, as appropriate. Promotes a positive image for the Department of Pharmacy services.

Requirements: M.S. in Pharmacy Practice or Pharm.D. Five years or more experience as Director or associate or assistant director of a large hospital pharmacy. R.Ph. license in North Carolina (or eligible for). Certificate of completion of an American Society of Hospital Pharmacy Accredited Hospital Pharmacy Residency. Self-motivation, strong leadership, team building abilities, and interpersonal communications skills. Experience with various pharmacy automation including pyxis, carousel, and CPOE. Knowledge, skills and abilities required: Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing.
