Retail Pharmacy Manager
Enjoy working retail, but hate the long hours? Do you have an entrepreneurial spirit? We are looking for an experienced Pharmacist to manage a busy outpatient retail pharmacy like it was your own business. The best part is the hours....Mon - Fri 7:30 - 6:00 and weekends 7:30 - 12:30. When does retail offer the evenings for family or other interests?
You will be responsible for the Retail Pharmacy portion of a downtown full service tertiary hospital with outstanding work schedule!!
The Retail Pharmacy Manager is responsible for managing a large retail establishment. Must have current Florida pharmacist license in good standing and excellent customer service, communication, and people management skills. This position will have business development responsibilities and will manage certain functions for our multi-store network of pharmacies (scheduling, inventory, etc.)
Previous retail pharmacy experience preferred. Skills necessary include management; decision-making; budgeting; communication; customer service; marketing experience; data analysis to identify problems and potential solutions; exposure and involvement with marketing programs; current knowledge base of all aspects of pharmacy including inject able drugs, vaccines, compounding, and some medical devices. Knowledge of Pharmaserv Computer System including inputting information into the computer; legal regulations regarding prescription dispensing and filing; extensive knowledge of stock medications and generic names.
