Job Description :

Staffing

Provide management direction for Pharmacy Supervisors who have responsibility for the field pharmacy operations.

Supervise the management of Consultant Pharmacists by Pharmacy Services team member TBD.

Sustain an effective staff-training program to ensure effective and efficient performance for all pharmacy services positions (pharmacists, technicians, assistants).

Establish, monitor and report on performance metrics for pharmacy services organization.

Regulatory Compliance

Enhance and supervise pharmacy services assessment program to ensure:

Compliance with state pharmacy statutes and regulations

Compliance with company procedures and processes

Support other functions on decisions and issues related to state board of pharmacy regulations.

Keep informed and educated on pharmacy practice trends and the respective regulations.

Process and Procedure Development and Maintenance

Ensure processes and procedures for pharmacy services organization provides compliance to all applicable regulatory requirements.

Continually review pharmacy services procedures to guarantee processes optimize efficiency and service.

Ensure cross-functional processes create best-demonstrated practice for receipt, verification and processing of prescriptions and orders.

Contribute technical pharmacy experience to the enhancement of systems and procedures for home patient order management.

Financial Management

Participate in the development of budgets and forecasts

Responsible, in conjunction with the Pharmacy Supervisors, for achieving financial objectives to include identifying and implementing strategies to improve operational efficiencies through new processes and/or technology.

Communication

Participate in the development and deployment of educational tools for customers on pharmacy/prescription requirements.

Build and foster relationships with internal and external customers to make certain that the pharmacy services organization is providing superior customer service.

Create awareness within company of responsibilities and services provided by pharmacy services organization.

Establish communications plan that seeks and shares information to ensure achievement of Renal home patient objectives.

Candidate Must Have :

B.S.in Pharmacy or PharmD required, MBA preferred. 3-5 years pharmacy management experience Active pharmacist license in good standing required Ability to do analysis of tradeoffs between business objectives - ability to think systemically Additional Information :Strong problem solving skills
