Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION: The Supervising Pharmacist is accountable for ensuring premium quality pharmaceutical care to all customers through the cost effective and efficient management of Pharmacy Services by coordinating and supervising the day-to-day operations of an independent retail pharmacy in Westchester County, NY. Supervisor will foster, enhance, and promote pharmaceutical care by educating, role modeling, participating in quality assessment and continuous quality improvement programs. Essential is the appropriate control on inventory and effective and efficient use of pharmaceuticals through implementing appropriate clinical programs and monitoring medication use.
REQUIREMENTS AND INCENTIVES: Graduate of Accredited School of Pharmacy, Doctor of Pharmacy / Pharm PHR.D. Current New York Pharmacist License. Member of the American Society of Healthcare Pharmacists (ASHP) and New York State Council of Health-system Pharmacists (NYSCHP).
