Job Description
JOB SUMMARY: Under general supervision, serve as an integral member of our healthcare team, working closely with physicians, residents, fellows, and nurses to ensure safe, effective, rational and most cost-effective use of medications to the inpatient and clinic pediatric population served. Supervise technicians and other support personnel in the proper distribution, storage, and record maintenance related to medication use in the organization. Also, rfecommend changes to enhance customer service and ongoing quality assurance programs.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Hold a current active California license as a Registered Pharmacist Current knowledge of drug therapies, durgs of choice, pharmacy innovations, federal, state, health and other applicable regulatory laws.
PEREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS: Dectorate degree in Pharmacy Experience in a pediatric setting Successful completion of a residency program Extensive background in the Hematology / Oncology environment
