Our client a 400 Bed Not For Profit, Acute Care Hospital seeks a creative and dedicated pharmacy professional to partner with the Director of Pharmacy Services to lead the System to new levels of excellence in medication safety and pharmaceutical care.
As the Assistant Director of Pharmacy you will work side by side with the Director of Pharmacy to support the mission, goals and objectives of the department and 2 state-of-the-art hospital sites.
General duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Coordination of clinical programs
- Assessing current operations
- New program development
- Automation and technology management
- Supervision, training, guidance and staff education.
- Leading and facilitating change in preparation for new state-of-the-art replacement hospital.
Requirements:
B.S. of Pharmacy, Pharm. D
Residency or advanced degree preferred
Minimum of 3 years hospital pharmacy experience
2 years in a supervisory or management role
Experience in scheduling, automation, employee development, DUE,
QA, and performance improvement a plus
Excellent presentation and organization skills
California licensure or eligible
