Job Description
As a contributing team member will you will provide drug distribution services, order entry functions, patient medication monitoring, preparation of IV admixtures and sterile products. Provide drug information (written and oral), patient consultation and/or education, inventory control, checking various aspects of technician work flow, maintain personal professional competency, performance improvement activities to including medication use evaluation and perform any other job-related duties as requested by pharmacy management.
Position:
- 4 – 10 hour shifts
- Primarily Days
- Rotating shift 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM, 10:00 AM to 8:30 PM and 1:30 PM to Midnight
- Every 4th weekend
Requirements:
- BS in Pharmacy or Pharm. D degree
- 1 + year experience
- Hospital experience preferred
- Ability to communicate with all levels of health care professionals
- Able to work without supervision
- West Virginia Licensure or eligible
- New grads & retail experience considered
- Will train the right candidate
