Job Description
Pharmacy Manager - In compliance with the HomeCare & Hospice's philosophy, goals, policies, mission and vision, the Manager of Infusion Services is responsible for managing the provision of infusion services, operational effectiveness and efficiency of the delivery of pharmaceutical services to patients. This responsibility includes management responsibilities for operations of infusion services, human resources, staff development and policy development and performance improvement
Education
Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy required. A Doctorate in Pharmacy or a Masters of Science Degree in Pharmacy preferred. Current licensure as a registered pharmacist in the state of North Carolina required.
Experience
A minimum of three years of recent experience in an acute-care setting or one year of recent experience in home infusion therapy with progressive management responsibilities is required. Experience and strong knowledge base in intravenous admixture services and intravenous drug therapy is required, as well as good organizational and time-management skills. Membership and participation in professional societies and organizations is desirable. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. *This position is with one of the largest teaching hospitals in the US.
