We have current openings in the Inpatient and Retail Pharmacies at our main campus located in downtown Seattle. Pharmacy staff typically work 8 hour shifts, in a decentralized model. Typical duties include counseling patients, answering drug inquiries, and order entry. The Retail position will fill and check prescriptions, resolve insurance billing issues, and have a desire to maximize results. The Inpatient position will primarily be assigned to medical/surgical floors with assignments ranging from 40-80 patients. Experience in a medium to large facility is desired.
Swedish is an integrated care facility in the Seattle region with four satellite campuses. Pharmacists will interact with patients and care teams in areas such as:
· Cardiovascular
· Neurology
· Cancer
· Orthopedic
· Women’s Health and Childbirth Services
· Emergency Care
· Various Ambulatory Programs
