Job Description
The largest acute care hospital in Marin County with 235 licensed beds, Marin General Hospital works in close partnership with Novato Community Hospital to provide for the health care needs of 175,000 residents of Marin County. The Pharmacy Intern prepares, fills and distributes medications and sterile products ordered by physicians. The Pharmacy Intern works under the supervision of the Director of Pharmacy, learning all phases of pharmacy operation via the assumption of clerical and technical functions and some delegated pharmacist functions, and eventually functions as a pharmacist. All interns work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
