Pharmacy Technician

The Pharmacy Technician prepares, fills and distributes medications and sterile products. All technicians are under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.

Qualifications
High school graduate or equivalent. Two years as a pharmacy technician or related experience preferred. Hospital pharmacy technician experience is strongly preferred. Two years college with appropriate science courses or completion of a formal Pharmacy Technician program; must be currently registered as a Pharmacy Technician in the state of California; working knowledge of general pharmacy operations, application of aseptic technique, ability to prepare sterile solutions; computer literate.
