This position is responsible for providing comprehensive pharmaceutical care to the patients and staff McKay-Dee Hospital and Outpatient operations. This position is also responsible to participate in continuous quality improvement and educational programs. The Staff Pharmacist reports to the Pharmacy Manager and supervises Pharmacy Technicians, and Interns. He/she is responsible for providing high quality pharmaceutical care to patients, staff, customers, and physicians.

Performs all duties of a Pharmacist as described in the Pharmacist job description. Has a Pharmacist check at all specified checking points.

Qualifications

This position requires an Intern license to practice pharmacy and dispense controlled substances in the State of Utah. This individual must demonstrate self-initiative, good interpersonal skills and leadership qualities. Individual must pass pre-employment math test. CPR Certification required within 3 months of hire.
