Job Description
This position is responsible for providing comprehensive pharmaceutical care to patients and staff Logan Regional Hospital and Outpatient operations. This position is also responsible to participate in continuous quality improvement and educational programs. The Staff Pharmacist reports to the Pharmacy Manager and supervises Pharmacy Technicians. Responsible for providing high quality pharmaceutical care to patients, staff, customers and physicians.
Qualifications
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or a PharmD degree from an accredited school of Pharmacy.
Requires a license to practice pharmacy and dispense controlled substances in the State of Utah.
Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal relations skills required with self-initiative and leadership qualities.
Experience and/or training in a hospital pharmacy environment for at least 2 yrs with one year in a clinically oriented position is preferred.
