Pharmacist; Pharmacy; Riverside Methodist Hospital

JOB DETAILS: JOB DETAILS:
Scheduled hours per week: 40.00, Begin and end Times: 6:00 AM-11 PM (EARLIEST/LATEST TIMES); Days of work: M-F, every fourth weekend

SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for dispensing and compounding medication, counseling patients on medication and health subjects; interpreting prescriptions, managing patient drug therapy for complications, and performing drug utilization. He/She collaborates with physicians, nurses, and other health-care practitioners to provide safe, high quality, and cost-effective drug therapy.

REQUIREMENTS:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
BS or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited institution and a current Ohio pharmacist license. Completion of a Pharmacy Practice residency or equivalent hospital experience.

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE
Pharmacology/Therapeutics for all age groups. Aseptic Technique and drug literature review.

KIND and LENGTH of EXPERIENCE
Previous hospital pharmacy experience
