Job Details: The Pharmacy Technician assists the pharmacist with medication selection, preparation and delivery with direct oversight by the licensed Pharmacist. Pharmacy Technician experience preferred. Hospital Pharmacy Technician experience preferred. A State of Connecticut Pharmacy Technician Registration is preferred. National Certification (CPhT) by the PHarmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) is preferred. Good communication skills, ability to work with computers, as well as knowledge of and familiarity with medical and drug terminology and the ability to work independently are necessary. In addition a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
