Pharmacist Position Available
This position is responsible for providing leadership to the Department of Pharmacy Services and for strategic planning, implementation, and maintenance of processes relative to productivity, quality of services, performance improvement, financial management, and human resource management. This leader is expected to role model the organization values of care, quality, stewardship, accountability, integrity, and courtesy. S/he is expected to formulate a plan for the operation of his/her department and provision of Pharmacy Services through out the hospital.
S/He will work collaboratively with other directors within the center and throughout the hospital to achieve department, center and hospital-wide quality, satisfaction, and financial goals; and to consistently meet the changing needs of the areas served by the Department of Pharmacy. S/he facilitates the development of individuals and work teams by coaching, mentoring, and developing Pharmacy managers and supervisors to fulfill the mission of the hospital, to meet the strategic goals of the hospital, and to meet the strategic goals of the department. S/he has budgetary responsibility for all resources related to Pharmacy Services to the hospital, including all medication expense and revenue, purchase and maintenance of automated dispensing machines, departmental supply and operational expense, and human resources. S/he serves as the Secretary of the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee of the Medical Staff. S/he serves as the Consultant of Record to meet the requirements of the State of Florida Department of Health Division of Medical Quality Assurance for Institutional Pharmacy licensure.

REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE: Current State License 3 Years Hospital based experience Prior experience in management role a plus
