Job Description
Pharmacist Full Time- rotating schedule between first and second shift
Under the direct supervision of the Manager and/or Director of Pharmacy Services, with wide latitude for independent decision-making, practices within the limits of hospital policy, accepted standards, professional pharmacy practice and State and Federal Law. Delivers pharmaceutical services to all patients in an accurate,, timely, polite and cost effective manner. Pharmaceutical services include the preparation and dispensing of medication, the provision of drug information and other pharmaceutical services necessary to promote the rational use and administration of drugs by health professionals. Demonstrates proficiency in identifying drug related problems and recommending solutions, in preparing and maintaining records, writing reports, evaluations and protocols, and accurate compounding, dispensing and evaluation of patient's pharmacy care needs in a manner that is consistent with the hospital's mission statement. This position provides a high level of quality service to patients of all ages found within the scope of services.

REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE: Bachelors Degree Required 1 to 2 years related experience preferred Requires licensure as a Registered Pharmacist in the State of Arizona. Requires a B.S. or Pharm.D. Degree from an accredited College of Pharmacy. Prefer a minimum of one to three years hospital experience. Ability to clearly speak, write and understand verbal and written English. Selected skills/credentials as defined by the department's scope of services
