PHARMACY DIRECTOR
$100,000+ salary quote based on experience.
JOB SUMMARY: The Director of Pharmacy is responsible for the delivery of pharmaceutical care to patients and pharmacy services to patients, physicians, nurses and ancillary departments while supporting the goals and objectives of the hospital and upholding the ethics of the profession of pharmacy.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited college of pharmacy TN Doctor of Pharmacy licensure by the State of TN Current controlled substance license from the State of TN Completion of 30 hours of continuing education every two years
Experience: * Three years hospital pharmacy experience required * Doctor of Pharmacy licensure by the State of Tennessee. * Current controlled substance license from the State of Tennessee * Completion of 30 hours of continuing education every two years
Works closely with pharmacists to serve patients, families, physicians, nurses, general staff
Supervises: 66 FTEs consisting of Pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and all pharmacy operations
