Job Description
Pharmacist Days with some Evening
To provide quality pharmaceutical care to achieve outcomes that will improve our patient's quality of life. By working as a part of the healthcare team we share the responsibility of monitoring drug response to drug therapy and optimizing drug regimens to improve patient outcomes
Responsible for coordinating and providing clinical pharmacy services for patients receiving treatment within his/her assigned specialty area. Facilitates the development, implementation, and maintenance of systems that promote desirable patient outcomes through the use of safe, cost-effective drug therapies. Member of Medical Staff committees, as assigned. Works closely with medical, nursing and pharmacy services in the area of pharmacotherapy. Preceptor for pharmacy residents, students and staff members. Takes an active role in pharmacy staff development. Serves the needs of neonatal, adolescent and geriatric patients. Specific age groups are identified in the position responsibilities. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
Requirements: Must have Florida Pharmacy licensure or be licensure eligible Doctor of Pharmacy Degree Completion of ASHP Accredited Residency Residency/Student preceptorship experience is preferred
