Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
Position is responsible for providing consultations to clients as required. Position also responsible for reviewing medications for drug therapy appropriateness, duplication of therapy and interaction. Position communicates with physicians and other healthcare providers by phone. The objective of the clinical relationship with the client is to improve the quality of care while controlling or decreasing overall health care costs. This is accomplished by recommending, implementing and evaluating clinical programs and services.
Pharmacist Schedule:
Pharmacists rotate thru all schedules…
M-F; 7:30am-4:30pm, 8:15am-4:45pm, 9:30am-6:00pm, 10:15am-6:45pm
**All Pharmacists rotate the on-call responsibility usually every other week but done from home (5:00pm-7:00am)…usually only busy until about 9:00pm.
Once every 6th weekend (5:00pm Friday – 7:30am Monday) – get half day on Friday and Monday off when you are scheduled over the weekend. Busy Sat and Sun during the days but not much other than that
