JOB DESCRIPTION: Develop an investigational drug service to support our institution’s growing involvement in clinical research activities. This service will provide support to industry-sponsored and investigator-initiated trials in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. The investigational drug pharmacist will interact with investigators, study sponsors, research personnel and other healthcare providers. Some staff supervision will be required. As the service grows, there will be opportunities for participation in other patient care activities of the department
LICENSURE: Must have graduated from an accredited school of Pharmacy, PharmD preferred. Hospital and investigational drug services experience preferred. Applicants must have good leadership, management and communication skills with demonstrated experience in developing new services.
