Responsibilities: Procurement of radiopharmaceuticals and other drugs, supplies and materials. Compounding of radiopharmaceuticals. Quality Assurance of radiopharmaceuticals and of instruments, equipments and devices. Dispense and distribute radiopharmaceuticals properly and accurately. Will be responsible for the health and safety of him/herself, co-workers, patients and the public. Knowledge of radiation safety. Supervise students and/or interns Printing of scripts, DOT's, etc. Supervise pharmacy operation while on-duty. Provides information and/or consultation associated with radiopharmaceuticals to physicians, healthcare workers, customers, etc. Ability to prepare reagents for synthesis, uses balances, graduated cylinders, and volumnmetrics. Monitor inventory of traditional products and hot pharmaceuticals.

Requirements for this job: Current license within the state of practice B.S. or Pharm.d from an accredited pharmacy school required Nuclear certification required Must receive or have documentation of receiving Nuclear Pharmacy Training (200 hrs Diadactic/500 Practical) Positron Emission Tomography, Radiation Safety and/or familiarity with cylcotron processes helpful Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions Clean driving records and ability to travel to accounts and trade show when necessary Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with Physicians, customers, vendors and personnel required Ability to problem-solve, handle customer service issues, exercise independent judgment and discretion Attend local SNM and APhA meetings
