Responsibilities: Provide clinical support and direction to the Director of Pharmacy (DOP) and pharmacy staff in the facility Build and enhance professional relationships with pharmacy staff and management Communicate effectively with pharmacy staff, hospital and system pharmacy management Provide pharmaceutical care to selected patients Develop drug therapy review programs and document their results Actively participate in the management process of the facility Participate in Pharmacy and Therapeutics (P&T) Committee meetings Coordinate vendor activities to support formulary decisions Establish procedures that ensure optimum performance for applicable audits Develop and coordinate clinically related quality improvement programs that meet all proprietary, regulatory, and accreditation standards Participate in the assessment and evaluation of professional staff Provide in-service education to medical, nursing and pharmacy staff Train and educate pharmacy staff to provide pharmaceutical care and practice Econotherapeutic related concepts Participate in the publication of educational material directed at hospital health care professionals Direct and coordinate clinical clerkship programs for pharmacy and other health care professional trainees

Requirements for this job: Current Pharmacy state license within the state of practice Bachelor's of Science or Pharm.D Degree from an approved College of Pharmacy 3-5 years experience managing clinical program required Must be able to pass background check and drug screen Proven customer service skills
