Clinical Pharmacist Rotating Shift Inpatient Facility

Responsibilities: Responsible for providing and coordinating pharmaceutical care services and collaborative drug therapy management for patients The Pharmacist will serve as a resource to the patients, physicians, pharmacists, nurses and other members of the health care team Provides prescribed medications, drugs, and other pharmaceuticals, compounds medications, and prepares special intravenous solutions according to professional standards and practices Demonstrates proficiency in delivering care to assigned age specific patient population (e.g., infants, adolescents, adults, geriatrics, pediatrics), and participates in related continuing education Assures safe and effective medication use and assures that drug storage is safe, controlled, and meets required conditions

Requirements for this job: Current Pharmacist license within the state of practice Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited College of Pharmacy One year recent experience in hospital pharmacy or a pharmacy residency
