Pharmacy Technician Home Infusion Day Shift

Responsibilities: Responsible for assisting the Pharmacist and Nurse in providing pharmaceutical and supply services to home infusion patients Performs non-discretionary functions, which include admixture, distribution of medications and supplies, and maintaining patient records

Requirements for this job: Completion of approved pharmacy technician training program Hospital experience in sterile parenteral product preparation preferred Current certification and licensure as a Level A Pharmacy Technician within the state of practice Requires knowledge of generic and trade names of top 50 IV medications; knowledge of aseptic technique; knowledge of pharmacy laws as they pertain to legal prescriptions, dispensing of drugs and pharmacy technician responsibilities; excellent computer, communication and customer service skills. Must have current Washington Drivers License, access to a reliable, insured vehicle and proof of automobile insurance Current CPR certification
