Staff Pharmacist 8-10 hour shifts, 2-3 days per week One weekend per month Skilled Nursing Facility

Responsibilities: Edit sheets and label check, phones, product check, packaging check and IVs Works on rotation with the consulting department and fulfill responsibilities of a consulting pharmacist Facilitates communication between client facilities and the pharmacy Handle emergency medication orders in a timely and consistent manner Identify medication errors in dispensing and forward to management for follow-up Provide clinical drug information and research products as requested by client facilities Attend and participate in pharmacist staff meetings Supervise non-pharmacist activities

Requirements for this job: Current Pharmacy state license in practicing state Bachelor's of Science Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited College of Pharmacy One year long term care experience preferred CPR and First-Aid Certification
