The Montana University System Board of Regents approved the Ph.D. and M.S. program in Neuroscience at The University of Montana on March 25, 2004. The Department of Biomedical and Pharmaceutical Sciences offers a dynamic program of graduate education leading to the:
- Ph.D. and M.S. in Neuroscience
- Ph.D. and M.S. in Toxicology
- Ph.D. in Pharmacology/Pharmaceutical Sciences
- M.S. in Pharmaceutical Sciences
The Department offers graduate training and research in neuroscience, toxicology, cardiovascular pharmacology, medicinal chemistry, pharmacogenetics, and cancer research. The Centers and Institutes within the department are instrumental in graduate training in the areas of neurological diseases, cardiovascular-endocrine disorders, and environmental toxicology.
Students will find the Ph.D. and M.S. programs in the Department of Biomedical and Pharmaceutical Sciences an excellent reason to come to Montana. The friendly, collaborative nature of our department allows students and faculty to concentrate on learning and research.
